The best part of the solar eclipse

I was stuck at EWR on the day of the big solar eclipse. Being a photographer, it was more than a little frustrating imagining the great shots I was missing waiting for my plane, but going to The Mother Land was worth it.

Still, camera in hand, I captured something really magical. All types of people were sharing a few precious pairs of solar glasses to see the eclipse. Fear and distrust were, for awhile, eclipsed by the joy of sharing a once-in-a-lifetime event.
